About RDM

The Rural Development Movement (RDM) is a community project in the rural village of Parakkanvilai, Tamil Nadu in South India.

Although started and maintained mainly by Christians, RDM is a secular Non-Governmental-Organisation (NGO) which supports all members of the community.

RDM aims to empower people in poverty to develop themselves through training and employment projects, education and primary health care.

RDM Parakkanvilai Fund

We are a UK-based charity which was set up to support the work of RDM in India.

Money raised for RDM in the UK can be sent to India through the RDM Parakkanvilai Fund.
